Israeli ambassador and other Zionist leaders at the U.N met last week to discuss ways on how to revoke the internationally-recognized right of return of Palestinian refugees who were forced from their homes in historical Palestine in 1948 and 1967.

Among them are people like 45-year-old Nidal, currently sheltering in UNRWA’s Damascus Training Centre. A long-term sufferer of hypertension and diabetes, Nidal is unable to afford life-saving medicine.

s1.reutersmedia.netAs the number of Palestinians from Syria in Lebanon surpasses 50,000, ANERA (American Near East Refugee Aid) is expanding its emergency relief program, thanks to a second grant from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), ANERA said in a press release. The new $250,000 OCHA grant will be supplemented by $300,000 from ANERA's own funds and will focus more on women's needs.
